INDEX TO DISTRIBUTE DISNEY MOBILE CONTENT VIA CHINA MOBILE

Index Corporation, a leading provider of mobile phone content and information
services, has signed an agreement with the Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) to
develop and distribute Disney branded mobile content for the Chinese market. Having
experienced joint success in Japan, where Index and WDIG already collaborate on
several Disney branded mobile content projects which lead the market, the two
companies have decided to extend their relationship into other markets in Asia. This
latest agreement between the two parties allows Index to launch a Disney Mobile
service via China Mobile within Q4 2003, making mobile content based on Disney
characters available to the more than 150 million China Mobile subscribers.

The primary intent of this agreement between Index and WDIG is to combine the
strengths and experiences of each company to deliver world-class, advanced
technology, interactive, and entertaining mobile content focused within China Mobile
’s Monternet GPRS/WAP mobile platform. Consumers will be able to subscribe to
dynamic Disney Mobile content, including colorful logos, polyphonic ring-tones,
animated wallpaper screens and games, directly from their phones. The content will be
based on Disney’s line-up of classic characters including Mickey Mouse and Donald
Duck, as well as on characters from modern Disney classics such as The Lion King, and
more recent blockbusters such as Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Other compelling
mobile content will be introduced on a regular basis. Also being considered are such
services as horoscope, light-education, and other content enjoyable to all mobile
users.

“With more mobile subscribers than any other country in the world China presents a
great opportunity for our business. We are looking forward to working closely with
Index and offering Disney Mobile content to Chinese mobile phone users,“ said Mark
Handler, Executive Vice President and Managing Director for WDIG’s international
operations.

“We are very happy to work with Disney, collaborating to extend their beloved
characters to mobile platforms in new markets,” said Yoshimi Ogawa, President of
Index Corporation. “We’re looking forward to leveraging our experience in content
development and mobile technologies to be among the pioneers of the China market.”
